Parkas, Hoodies and T-shirts….what up with them?

(T- front)

Greetings,

As some of you may know we the CMR board, have been looking at Team Parkas, and what we have found is to purchase a parka that will fit ‘everyone’ Korbyn “hippy” Edmondson to Ryan Lojo, we need to order in late winter or early spring taking delivery the following fall. We also found we need to do some serious fundraising to offset the costs. My goal is to get the purchase price of a good quality parka down to $100.00 – $125.00 per athlete. So our fundraising goal is between $6000.00-$8000.00 dollars, ouch! Clothing is expensive; we have to date secured about $2000.00 towards this goal. Still it will be another season before we can purchase a new parka to which everyone will afford and be proud to wear.

(T-left sleeve)

In lieu of parkas, I strongly felt we needed something to build team spirit, pride and show the Casper and racing communities that we the Casper Mountain Racers are here and unified. That said Pearley Wells / Bush Wells Sporting Goods are helping us with the Hoodies and long sleeve t-shirt order. CMR is not making anything on this order we, I; am hoping everyone, involved in CMR will purchase one or both of these items. Parkas will happen it will just take some time.

Soooo….

A panel of CMR members and I have selected a sweet dark granite color hooded Sweat Shirt and a black color Long Sleeve tee shirt. Both will have Casper Mountain Racers printed on them.  The hoodies will cost approximately $40.00 and the Tee’s approximately $13.00.  We will be wearing them each day of the ski swap to show the public who we are and who they are supporting with their purchases.  Fran Munday is calculating a general number to order so please let us know how many you will want and what sizes for the athletes, parents and coaches.  We will be placing this order next week.

Show your support, thank-you
